This graphic organizer illustrates Margaret Early's concept of "turning instruction upside down" to connect with students' prior knowledge.
This graphic organizer visually summarizes information about the learning cycle, which is the process human beings go through as they learn new information. First, they must be prepared to learn, then that learning must be guided, and finally the learner must have an opportunity to reflect on the learning. The course graphic organizer presents this same learning cycle in a tree diagram format.
This chart is both an example of a graphic organizer used as a study guide and an assignment to complete for class. When content and/or text are organized in a comparison-contrast structure, charts work better than questions to be answered.
This is a graphic organizer that summarizes information on schema theory.
This chart summarizes several iterations of the learning cycle from reading, science, and mathematics.
